Coral Calcium Debunked: There are so many companies competing against each other to provide coral calcium and
no one company holds exclusive rights.
Even when it comes to the raw coral calcium, there are about 12 companies in Japan that harvest the raw materials in Okinawa. Again, there are no exclusive rights when it comes to coral calcium.

'Contains Coral Microbes'
Some sites will claim that their marine coral calcium (aka below sea coral calcium)
contains coral microbes, and that these microbes do amazing things. These microbes supposedly pull "minerals through the intestinal wall into the bloodstream."
This is perhaps the most ridiculous myth.
Coral Calcium Debunked: Amazing or not, the microbes simply can't exist in marine coral calcium products. Marine coral calcium is
heated to over 1000 degrees to destroy toxic heavy metals and other contaminants. No coral microbe could survive this process.

'Physician Formulated'
The assumption, of course, is that if a coral calcium product is physician formulated,
it is somehow better.
Coral calcium formulas are pretty straightforward. We're not talking rocket science here.
Coral Calcium Debunked: As the Coral Calcium Watchdog Web site states, "a physician's involvement is arguably overkill."
Some coral calcium may be formulated by a physician. However we have found
no proven benefit from any formulation that is supposedly physician formulated. And often, 'physician formulated' coral calcium isn't.
